You know you’re at a high school reunion when you overhear, “My prom dress still fits… if I don’t exhale.”
You’re smarter. You’re funnier. You’re wiser. You’re more mature (okay, I think that might be stretching the truth!).
You’ve still got it. That dress then didn’t define you and it doesn’t define you now.
Many of us put on a pound or two. Many of the men might have lost a strand or two of hair. Maybe a little gray. Our eyes aren’t as sharp and we aren’t so quick up the stairs. Take it in stride. And, why not watch the diet, quit smoking, and join a gym (or a dance class)?
And, go ahead, dye the hair. We’re not judging! 🙂
That’s aging gracefully. The dress or suit you wore at 18 might be part of history, but you can be the best version of today.
