Do you wish you were better students in high school? Many of us do, even the top students. Success comes to those who are driven to learn, to explore, and to give new things a try.

Now that we are older, we can appreciate the things we learned with a sharper eye. Consider taking adult ed classes at your local community college. The course catalog should be online.

For example, if you are in the trades, explore a small business course. This can help you expand your business, teach you basic accounting, marketing, and how to hire others.

Or, learn guitar, horseback riding, or website design.

Whether you went to college straight out of high school or took a job the day after graduation, you can always learn something new.

If you live in the Shepard area, check out Moraine Valley Community College. Or check out websites like Masterclass.com
